The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, confessed that the Lotto 6aus49 ticket had been sitting in her purse the whole time.
“I still get dizzy at the thought that I carelessly carried almost 33 million euros around in my purse for several weeks,” the winner said through a statement from the German lottery operator.
